ILLUSION

I saw the sun shining sharply,
the stream flowing freely,
the wind blowing softly,
the grass laying beneath ceaselessly
through the glorious valley,
as I stood there waiting for you impatiently.
Then I saw you walk towards me breathlessly,
with hair that got a little messy,
yet you came through dashingly.
As you reached there, you look at me lovingly;
took my hand nervously,
got down on one knee charmingly,
asking me to be yours forever bewitchingly.
I said yes, enthusiastically,
as you put a ring on my finger, oh what a beauty!
It was a moment that went flawlessly,
while everything fits in perfectly,
my world seemed complete elegantly,
until I realize it was all an illusion, a delusional fantasy;
a hallucinated fairy tale with no possibility.
