Do you remember that road you played in as a kid?
The road where all your friendships started.
Do you remember the laughter and the tears?
The quarrels and patch ups?
That road gave us great memories
And lifetime friends.
Some are still with us,
Some moved away,
while some have left us.
Yes, they were the best friends we ever made
and that road gave it all to us.
Way before social media or smart phones I remember coming back from school and changing as fast as I can to go play with my friends, it was such a great time and a wonderful memory. I’m sure that you all have the same fun or much more in your very own road somewhere. This poem is dedicated to the road where I have the most wonderful childhood with the amazing people I grew up with.
Happy reading!

Iโm lucky that I have these sort of memories from my childhood! But Iโm afraid about todayโs childhood. It is more stressful and less playful! Children are not making memories, not playing, and it is isolation!

Thats true, given the circumstances and the situation. And with technology kids this days don’t experience the fun of playing outside and getting dirty, its extremely sad.

Your lovely words make me nostalgic. The road with memories is the best one to walk in! The days bygone come rushing into our heads to create a bittersweet sensationโฆ ๐ Lovely concept, dear sister!

I remember the hide and seek games we used to play, the football, the skip… oh, i remember how beautiful it was growing up. There were friends just as there were enemies, but when we all grew up, we became friends together and then departed to places unknown to each other, to find life. The memories still linger. Some have died, some are very much alive, but the talk is little. And new friends come in every day. Life, life is so adventurous. Nonetheless, the momories of childhood, the clay cars we used to make, the animals, the grazing fields, the wrestlings, all are unforgettable. Thanks for the calm reminder. ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐

Those days were amazing, no phones and just fun times spent with people around. I still have my childhood friends with me for which I am extremely grateful though one left us too soon.
Thrilled to learn about the funs you had. ๐๐๐
