I have written you a letter;
a letter of joy and love,
of sorrow and pain as well;
for life isn’t only sunshine and rainbows
but also a mixture of thunder and storms.
In it I captured the beauty of this world,
painted the skies like the rose of Sharon,
for all the wonderful things you received,
the friends you made, the family you have;
I added a touch of grey
for the struggles, the tears and heartbreaks;
a color for that time you cried and almost gave up,
times you thought you weren’t good enough.
I painted this letter
with every shade of happiness and sorrows,
for that is the truth of life.
Through it I want you to know,
in your hard times
though I can’t promise you great outcomes
I will be there giving you the strength you need,
to rise above,
to try till you reach your goals,
to give it your best,
no matter the result.
I will end this letter with one final touch;
a color of hope and faith,
I wish you well.

With all that is going on in the world I hope we could all give a little bit of love to each other, staying united and let love win through all circumstances. Sending each one of you a bundle of love, hope and peace. ❤️

  1. Thanks for your love, my friend. The world is hurting indeed, moreso now when power ochlogogues have become so selfish in their quest for territories they feel are within their reach. It’s quite painful. More love and peace to everyone elsewhere. ❤ ❤

      1. Yes, they just want to take the world several steps backward, to times when war imprints featured everywhere. Too bad indeed. It’s incumbent upon us to stand firmly against war and preach peace and love, in whatever way we can. 😌🤗❤

  2. Noble and admirable sentiments, and I agree with you, Daphny. So much is going wrong everywhere. It may seem impossible to stand up to feckless bullies who rule (or wish to rule again) from a place of hatred and lust for power, and whose followers are now just as brazen and violent as those they worship, but we must try. What else is there? The alternative is utter destruction. We must hope that our light will shine brighter than their darkness. Thanks for using your voice for this just cause. It will take many good-hearted people like yourself to make this world a better place for all of us. 🙂

    1. Thank you so much Mike, that really meant a lot and I am glad I could use my voice for it. Hopefully our lights will shine much brighter than their darkness, we are in it together and we will see it through. 🤗
