MY GRAVE

When this world I leave behind
and my grave you build,
plant me a white daisy,
modesty and humility,
surround me with roses;
overflowing with love and warmth;
let no sorrows near it,
may it be filled with grace.
When my grave you leave,
let go of me as well,
move on in life with a smile on your face,
knowing I’ll be with my maker in paradise,
watching over you every step of the way.

Death is something that has fascinated me a lot as odd as it sounds and when I leave this world behind I want people to cherish my life rather than mourn and fill the surroundings with only positivity nothing more nothing less. ❤️

  4. Ooh, Daph dear, what a poignant piece, one full of love and goodwill for a time we shall be no more. I don’t even ever want to imagine of losing such a sweet friend as you this early. Though death is an unavoidable fate, i’d still want to be hopeful that we will grow old together and share these memories with laughter, joy and marvelling on our faces.
