Judgement you pass by my looks,
without knowing the person I really am,
nor any effort of doing so.
My choices you questioned
with no intention to learn the reason
or the motive behind.
You put a tag in me,
said I’m heartless and cold;
yet you don’t even know me that well.
We aren’t the same,
we each have a setback of our own,
a reason that made us the way we are,
I never judged you of yours
why do you question me of mine?
With no clue of the truth,
you come around blaming me
for things I let go to keep my moral intact.
make judgements to your hearts content;
it affects me no more
as my life is mine to live
not to your accordance.
We live in a society where every one has something to say about someone else’s life pointing out everything they do wrong while forgetting to look at the reflection of their own, as long as you let what society thinks bother you, you my friend will find no peace in life and live a depressing life. Take charge of your own life and live it as you desire, be the master of your tune and that will lead you to a positive change in life, one step closer towards your goals. This poem is about how I no longer let it effect me and I hope you find it in you to do the same. ❤️
