This is a poem about my personal journey of finding myself.

Felt like I’ve lived in fear for a long time!
Fear of judgements,
fear of imperfections;
fear of being alone, the worst of all.
One day I finally decided to let go,
then I start to see the world differently.
I began ignoring the Judgements,
accepting my imperfections;
being alone became my biggest strength.
I let myself be me,
finally, I felt free;
Free from my fears.
I saw myself clearly,
and realize the miles I have yet to go.

I think many people can relate when I say that at one point in our life we get self conscious about our many flaws and this poem is about the journey of how I let go of it all and finally found myself. Big thank you to my family and friends who have supported me, encouraged me and gave me the courage to finally share my writings. I hope you enjoy them. Thank you ☺️
